BIOGRAPHY

Hello!

My name is Aaliyah and I am a self-taught artist and a full-time student; I am currently studying Computer Science with a minor in Game Design Thinking and Creative Writing at Central Michigan University. I aspire to become a video game developer and utilize my skills in drawing, illustration, storytelling, and animation to bring my art and future game characters to life.

I've been drawing ever since I was young and it has been an activity I loved to do in my spare time and a talent I have kept suppressed from others. I named this brand Exaltée Monét, based off the meaning of my name 'Aaliyah', which means "The Exalted One", and my middle name 'Monét', which means "To be heard". This name is to represent myself breaking out of my shell and no longer suppressing my talents. I have created this brand to finally showcase my work and I hope doing so uplifts and inspires anyone that desires to spotlight their talents.
